ترغب الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي بتطوير بحيرة البيانات وذلك من خلال توفير البرمجيات والأجهزة والتدريب اللازم بهدف دعم احتياج البيانات المتزايد في بنك البيانات الوطني وذلك لتخزين البيانات شبه وغير المهيكلة (semi and non-structured data) وإدارتها ومشاركتها.
